I LOVE these guys !!!! I've known this family, well, before they were a family :) They've trusted me to take their pics before I really knew what I was doing. I always have way too much fun when I'm with them. The only dilemma now.. what can we do next, but I figured that out late last night (my best time to think) ..... We're gonna go camp at the beach, baby !!

This sweetie's mommy adopted her brother about 9 monthes ago. She got a phone call, guess what ?? Someone had a baby girl for her !! Now she has twin babies, (kinda -sorta) Amazing story. Special Mom,:) Special baby :)

When you tell your little brother to jump... He jumps!! (and so does his family) Since we live on opposite coasts, I treasure the time I was able to spend with my brother & his awesome family this summer.

I've known Miss R (Opps !, Mrs. B- They've eloped) since she was Tiny. I love her family, a bunch of girls, no brothers. This makes them "oh-so feminine" and are they ever so creative. When Mrs.B called me with her photo idea, to announce their marriage, I can't tell you how excited I was. I love doing things out of the norm & love clients that think that way.We had so much fun! And aren't they the cutest couple ???

I was visiting with my daughter-in-law a while back & captured this simple shot. For some reason I just love it. Maybe because it shows how at ease she is with being such a wonderful mom.

Hooray !! K-bub gets his Eagle !!!

Four for four....K-bub is the youngest of 4 brothers, all Eagle Scouts !!! We knew he'd do it !! We took the Cub photo way back just for his Eagle court of Honor. (a friend, Mrs.J, was impressed I remembered the photo.) We are quite proud of him. Most of our family came & celebrated with us on Friday & Then again for Miss P Baptism.... Photos posted later :) What a great weekend.. i love it !!

Oh Pioneer....

I was asked to take some photos for a Pioneer Heritage Festival we are having in our area this weekend. My grandgirlies are such good sports.... (great little actress' too...Look at the seriousness :)

I really enjoyed taken these photos. It has been such a busy working summer that it's been a long time since I've gotten to shot something creatively just for me :)

When hearing stories about the Pioneers that crossed the plains, my heart goes out to those tiny young Saints that were among the bravest. Many with ill or deceased parents took on the role of caregivers to their younger siblings.

I wanted my photos to depict the Faith, Courage, and especially the Strength that is in being a part of a loving family.

I had never met Miss C before. She had seen some work I had done for one of her friends.Miss C called & begged me to come up to Big Bear & capture her family while the shared time together. I knew she was something special just talking to her on the phone....................

What a warm wonderful Family. What a fun Family and a truly fun day !!! (all tho we had to sing a few chorus's of "Rain Rain Go Away"....)

But when no one is around I call her precious :) Just kidding, but we are having fun having a dog again, even if she is a little spastic. I am caring for 5 grandkids during the day this summer, so let's throw a puppy into the party too.. Am I crazy ???

Cowboys live in the High Desert and Cowboys have Cowboy weddings. These clients were married in a Barn, fixed up quite nice, tho. It was crazy fun!!

Sisters from a family photo shoot, A very special family shoot, my daughters family. I love that you can see their personalities in their smiles. tho- it was hard to bring out the big grins, they had a tiny sister tiff, and I heard myself echo my mom's words-"Remember-She'll always be your best friend."

Sweet Sacrifice

I'm so blessed that several of my grandhunni's stay with me while their parents are out earning the bread. C-boy is with me 5-days. I used to joke that we were business partners, but He must be the boss cuz I have to carry him...... Anyways C-boy love his naps (HOO-RAY !!) BUT-I have to lay down with him. Such a sacrifice. We have a ritual of tickling, cuddling, & telling stories...........

Here's C-boy telling me that there's a "Roar-dur" (scary dinosaur-Big Teeth) at the edge of the bed, He loves my "I'm scared out of my wits" performance. We Nana's have many talents.
