Summer Visit

Dad was spending the week at Scout camp, so Mom & the kiddos came to visit Nana.

Luckily as Nana I get a private performance of recitals I'll miss- being as they happen out

of state. So naturally my cuties have to have to play photo shoot with their Nana.

We even got Mister W to come pose for a few..........
I Love that sweeties are as silly as me. I'm lucky they understand my strange humor.

Mr G is ONE !!!

Remember little Mr G??? He belongs to one of the sweet families that have trusted me to capture their family for years, & I was so happy to meet little G when he was just a few days old. He was such a beautiful little guy a year ago..........

But now look at what a sweetie he has grown to be in just a year. What a Handsome Charmer & such a Happy little guy..................

I ordered a special little blue cake for his special day & it was sooooo much fun watching him gobble up his cake. He did such a incrediable job. He was so delighted !! He LOVED it !! Mommy & Daddy LOVED that he LOVED it!! & I Loved capturing his Joy !!

Oh My Gosh !!!! What a Beauty......

I've known for a while that I was going to have the privilege of taking Miss M's senior photos. She is such a beauty you can see why I have been so excited. I've been dreaming & planning her FUN photo session. She even emailed me some ideas of her own . I LOVE it when clients come with FUN ideas. I LOVE the challenge.

We had the first part of the shoot scheduled for this morning, but when all those crazy weathermen talked about the fierce storm that was to come, Miss M said perhaps we should reschedule. I agreed. (I have to admit, I was a little disappointed)

I saw Miss M this morning...I couldn't help myself... I begged her to come play in the snow with me............

I am sooooo glad she agreed.

52 Week Project............Week One -Gratitude

Photographers sometimes choose to do either a 365 (days in the year/Daily) or 52 (weeks in a year/weekly) project. They do this to push their creativity or to expand their skills.

I turned 52 this week so I have chosen this week to start my own 52 week Project. One photo per week just for me.

The last few years I have made it my personal goal to have an Attitude of Gratitude

I am the happiest when I look for the good...choose to be grateful..... You know, just simply to remember to "Count your Blessings"

The theme of my 52 project will be "Thanksgiving Daily." I worried it might seem a little braggy, but hopefully through this 52 week project you'll see as I am discovering in my "older" age- It's the simplest of things that truly make you happy.

WEEK ONE- I am grateful to have celebrated my Birthday with my ever growing family and enjoying sweets decorated by chubby four-year-old hands.

The Wonderfully Wacky W family...........

I took this a few weeks ago. September has been crazy. I really loved shooting almost everyday. Wish I could do it always. I love connecting with old friends & making new ones.
Here's a family I've known for quite a while. They go to my church-just at a different time. I knew they were a pretty cool family but I just didn't know how fun & hilarious they are.

They REALLY love each other.

Tri Community Tri Sprint Triathlon..........

We got a call from our middle daughter a few weeks back. She told us she & some of her friends were going to participate in the Tri Community Tri Sprint Triathlon in Arizona. This was a surprise because we didn't even know she was training & besides some little league baseball her childhood really didn't include much sports.

So when she invited us up for the weekend, We thought it would be a blast to be part of her cheer leading section.

She did great. Finished so quick I really didn't get any good bike photos-sorry. (She's faster than our car) She didn't even look winded at the finish line. In fact with her fun cute personality she was chatting it up with another runner as she came in .

10 Days old...............

Oh my Gosh !!! Did I have FUN today. Meet perfect Miss S . Isn't she beautiful. I LOVE her little chubbiness !!! Check out her perfectly gorgeous pouty lips. We shot through her session so quickly... She NEVER woke up. I don't think I have ever done a newborn shot with a perfectly wonderful sleeping baby . She needs some kind of baby award. She was such a delight.
