I was visiting with my daughter-in-law a while back & captured this simple shot. For some reason I just love it. Maybe because it shows how at ease she is with being such a wonderful mom.

"Bigger the bow...."

My sister-in-law once told me- "The bigger the bow-The cuter the baby" Miss El is one darling sweetie. These were taken a while ago. I am finally catching up, just in time for the crazy holiday. Saturdays are booking FAST- If you want your family photos for Christmas-call me soon!!

Hooray !! K-bub gets his Eagle !!!

Four for four....K-bub is the youngest of 4 brothers, all Eagle Scouts !!! We knew he'd do it !! We took the Cub photo way back just for his Eagle court of Honor. (a friend, Mrs.J, was impressed I remembered the photo.) We are quite proud of him. Most of our family came & celebrated with us on Friday & Then again for Miss P Baptism.... Photos posted later :) What a great weekend.. i love it !!

Oh Pioneer....

I was asked to take some photos for a Pioneer Heritage Festival we are having in our area this weekend. My grandgirlies are such good sports.... (great little actress' too...Look at the seriousness :)

I really enjoyed taken these photos. It has been such a busy working summer that it's been a long time since I've gotten to shot something creatively just for me :)

When hearing stories about the Pioneers that crossed the plains, my heart goes out to those tiny young Saints that were among the bravest. Many with ill or deceased parents took on the role of caregivers to their younger siblings.

I wanted my photos to depict the Faith, Courage, and especially the Strength that is in being a part of a loving family.

I had never met Miss C before. She had seen some work I had done for one of her friends.Miss C called & begged me to come up to Big Bear & capture her family while the shared time together. I knew she was something special just talking to her on the phone....................

What a warm wonderful Family. What a fun Family and a truly fun day !!! (all tho we had to sing a few chorus's of "Rain Rain Go Away"....)
